Xavier Payne

Before I tell you about myself, I would first like to thank you for visiting my site. This site is a relfection of not only where I am, but where I want to go. I take my work very seriously and for that I appreciate you taking the time to view my art.
And So...
My name is Xavier Payne, and I am an Artist, Graphic Designer, and Illustrator.
For the last 2 years, I have been training to become a graphic artist. I have learned to look at every project assigned as a problem simply waiting to be solved. I also learned to become somewhat of an artistic "chameleon" when designing. Instead of adopting one style, I choose to mold myself to fit any particular project.
For the last 20 years, I have been training as a visual artist. I believe that a person with great influences is destined to be great himself. With that said, my art is inspired and motivated by a wide range of artists, including: Vincent Van Gogh, Jackson Pollock, Milton Glaser, Drew Struzan, Frank Frazetta, Sebastian Kruger, Phillip Burke, Emory Douglas... and the list goes on and on. I break subjects down to its most simple ideas and work from there.
My ultimate mission as an artist is to erase the line that separates fine art from graphic art.
I am based in Nashville, TN, and I am proud to be apart of such a talented community of artists.
